A research archive recording how publicly listed MCP servers' tool
schemas change over time.

WHAT IT DOES
  Two requests per day: "initialize" then "tools/list".
  The same read-only discovery handshake any MCP client performs.
  Servers are discovered via the public MCP registry.

WHAT IT NEVER DOES
  - never invokes a tool (discovery only)
  - never sends credentials or attempts to pass authentication
    (401/403 -> recorded as auth-required, not probed again for 30 days)
  - never retries aggressively (429/503 -> backed off >= 7 days)
  - never reads resources, prompts, or content
